Palliative Care...A Viable Option | Dee Dixon, Palliative Care Nurse
Palliative Care is a multidisciplinary approach to specialized care for persons with serious illness, which can be chronic in nature. It focuses on providing relief from aggravating symptoms, regardless of the diagnosis. The goal of the therapy is to improve quality of life for the patient and family.
DoubleHope encourages and supports those affected by cancer, helping to navigate their paths with hope and strength from a faith based perspective. Meetings are held on the second Monday of each month. Attendees are welcome to bring lunch & eat as we meet.
We welcome cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers. If you know anyone preparing for or going through cancer treatment, please invite him or her to attend.
